This locket features the design of a magical decorative door with the family house, casita, and the inscription, Familia, above it. The locket opens to an inscription on the inside "open your eyes" and can hold up to 2 family photos. The inscription stays hidden behind the photos for only you to see,as a reminder to open your eyes to the dreams each family member has for themselves as individuals, and not necessarily who you dream them to be.
When the locket opens you will see 2 spots to insert your family photos.
PICTURE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Using a thin paper no thicker than 90lb cardstock, size and print your photo to 14mm x 21mm. You want the picture a little bigger than the opening and a little smaller than the outer edge of the locket. I used a word document to make the pictures smaller with more ease. Using your nail or fingertip, press vertically down the edge of the picture and the edge will fold around the inner rectangle to hold it in place. Repeat this process with the other vertical edge, followed by the horizontal edges.
Chain length is adjustable with 16" and an 18" settings. Chain extenders are sold separately if a longer length is desired.

Silver finish: 925 sterling silver dipped in hypoallergenic rhodium. All jewelry is hypoallergenic material, nickel free and lead free.

- Use light strokes. Do not rub in a circular pattern, follow the grain of the silver.
STORAGE TIPS:
- Store individual pieces separately.
- Store in an area with low humidity (jewelry bag or box).
Do not expose to water. Over years of wearing, the plated coloring will may fade lighter, but maintaining the necklace using these instructions will help keep the plated 14k color for a longer period of time.
